Headucate: university of east anglia
Headucate was founded by Norwich Medical School students in 2012, and has since grown to become one of UEA’s largest, most active societies, open to any student, from any course.
We're UEA’s mental health awareness and acting Psychiatry society, proudly affiliated with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Our overriding aim is to tackle mental health stigma by running educational workshops in schools, tackling common misconceptions about mental health issues. Since COVID-19, we have continued to run these workshops, reaching over 1,000 young people in 2020-2021!
We have won multiple awards throughout the years including:
- Develop many skills including leadership, teamwork, communication, research, fundraising, advocacy and more!

-Attend our fantastic talks with top class speakers! Get involved in publications and poster presentations.
