Norwich Medics Football Club (NMFC):
Norwich Medics Football Club is a student run football club and society that focuses largely on competitive football matches but also on less competitive training sessions and smaller 6-a-side football games. We compete in Division 1 of the Central and South Norfolk League with 11-a-side games every Saturday, whilst training every Wednesday and competing in a 6-a-side league at the UEA Sportspark every Sunday.
The other main emphasis of the club is socials that are run on a regular basis. We plan on running even more new and improved socials this year to make up for lost time over the past couple of years. The majority of socials are within the club, but some are run with other medic sports club across the University. So whether you’re interested in football or social events, or a combination of both, then the more the merrier for the year ahead.

Now, onto the important bit: SOCIALS. We have plenty of quality socials throughout the year with Welcome drinks, Christmas curry night and Crate escape all being standout fixtures on the calendar. We plan on having joint socials with netball and the women’s football team next year too so make sure to look out for those! Last but not least, we have ttttooooouuuuurrrr which is guaranteed to be the best weekend of your life. The location is still yet to be decided but it is definitely one you don’t want to miss! We also hope to take part in the legendary NAMS football tournament next year, competing with other medical schools around the UK.
