UEA OBGYN is a society open to all students with an interest in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Whether considering the speciality as a career or simply looking for last minute OSCE advice, we aim to cater for all.
Often described as a dynamic mixture of medicine & surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology is an extremely rewarding & diverse field, encompassing a broad range of sub-specialities including infertility, maternal & foetal medicine, gynae-oncology & uro-gynaecology obstetrics is unique in that clinicians must consider the health of not one, but two human beings. The field provides doctors the privilege to care for young patients & families at one of the happiest times in their lives.
We hope to enrich student interest in the field of OBGYN with a range of events such as interest talks, OSCE practise & careers events.
