WHAT IS SEXPRESSION?
Sexpression is a national, student led network, that aims to empower young people to make informed decisions about their sexual health. We do this by running informal, fun, student led Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) sessions in our local community (schools, youth clubs, etc.) We provide all members with training enabling them to act as facilitators in our teaching sessions, covering all things SRE, ranging from puberty to safe sex, sexuality to pregnancy, prejudice to relationships and so on!
WHY HAVE SEXPRESSION?
Sexpression aims to teach SRE in a more approachable, interactive and enjoyable way. Using games, quizzes and other interactive methods, we aim to create a more comfortable environment for pupils to be able to learn about and discuss sex more openly. As students, we are often more relatable to the pupils and can therefore provide a more informal setting. This ensures less embarrassment, allows us to build better rapport and encourages more pupil participation.
